The Royal International Air Tattoo – United Kingdom 2018
Next event for me in July: The Royal International Air Tattoo – United Kingdom 2018
During the weekend of July 13-15, the gates of RAF Fairford opened once again for the visitors to this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo. 200.000 people attended over the weekend to witness one of the best air shows in Europe. The Air Tattoo, one of the UK’s premier outdoor events, returns this summer and will be marking a very special occasion in 2018, the centenary of the Royal Air Force. As well as commemorating the past achievements, we’ll also be celebrating the present and helping to inspire the future of the RAF.
Three Full Days
RAF100 at the Air Tattoo will be a full three day event, with over 7 hours of amazing flying on all three days. Friday will be a day not to miss, featuring a Royal Review of aircraft, a 7hr+ flying display and dramatic flypasts to celebrate the Centenary. Due to the nature of this event, flying participants may be different on each day.
Aircraft are the stars of the Air Tattoo and soon you’ll find all the information about the aircraft and operators invited to participate in the 2018 show. RIAT 2018 be having a full three days of airshows with over 7 hours of flying on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 2018. Because RIAT 2018 will be a different event, many display participants will be different on each day.
